I moved to another hotel, but it didn't feel as welcoming as Sahari Zanzibar. I decided for the remaining days of my holiday i will enjoy them at Sahari.

The breakfsast and the meals in general were very good.
The rooms were quite nice.
After we came back from our rides the rooms were always cleaned and tidied up with fresh towels and fresh bottles of water.
I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff there, specially the manager Aliya. She was always asking if everything was ok, if we needed something, etc. She helped us to organize all the tours (with very good suggestions and providing the driver).
On our last day, our flight from Zanzibar to Dubai was cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Dubai. So, again, Aliya suggested and helped us to book a flight from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam and from there we were able to catch a plane to Dubai the next day.

We stayed at Mustapha’s Place for nine nights with our 1 and 4 year old. The staff were incredible and so friendly. The pool and playground were so fun for our little ones. The food is really great and priced at a good value. I highly recommend this place for families looking to get off the beaten track and want a truly Zanzibar holiday. We will definitely come back!

The staff (especially the bar manager and receptionist) were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast options are great and the restaurant itself has tasty food for lunch and dinner. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Beach is merely a 2 min walk from the entrance to the hotel. Also very convenient that they have a generator since the island suffers from many power outages.

Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje. There’s a lot to do in the area (caves, forests , spice farms, Rock restaurant) and lots of bars and restaurants however you’ll need transportation to access them.
We travelled around the entire island in an hire car which I would highly recommend, was great fun and easy to find our way around. I would say this area is more dirty and littered which is a shame as the rest of the country is really well kept.

We were a family of 10 people.
We were a family of 10 people. I did not expect to walk in sand all over the place. The foliage kept it a little cooler. The pool was fine and clean. I did not expect no air conditioning and trying to stay cool with a standing room fan.
Food was Ok - nothing special. The drive from the airport after dark was dangerous. The walk to the beach was short. A few restaurants were open down the beach.
We moved to another resort just down the street after one night and had clean rooms, air conditioning, on the beach, great meals. We kept our keys because they said we could not get a refund for the 2nd and 3rd nights we had reserved. They said we could come back and use the pool but did rent out our rooms from the 2nd & 3rd nights.
It was more like a hostel but was not advertised well on Booking.com

Bwejuu is a small village with two shops where you can buy groceries and cosmetics. There is public transport there. In the vicinity is bigger village of Paje where there are more restaurants and shops.
The beach is absolutely beautiful - white sand, wide a very long (excellent for walks and looking for shells), few people there.
The best restaurants are Shanti café and Sahari.
You can hire kite board there and teacher for kite boarding.
8 km from Bwejuu is beautiful place where you can watch sunset and enjoy big bar with excellent drinks and good music for dancing.

Bwejuu has a great beach.
Bwejuu has a great beach. It is relatively quiet with only a few people working the beach to sell tours etc. We met some friendly locals and joined in some birthday celebrations, which was fun.
Best be aware that there is a big tide so you can’t swim all the time. When the tide is in, the water is shallow and very warm.
In the evenings there is a warm breeze that is refreshing and keeps the mosquitoes away.

Bwejuu area is very disappointing.
Bwejuu area is very disappointing. It has a beach that cannot be enjoyed, far from everywhere, much more expensive than Nungwi and much lower quality. It is a complete mess. I don’t understand why Paje and Bwejuu area are so famous
If you are coming to Zanzibar for a serene peaceful experience in which time stops then Sahari is the right place for you!
The staff was so friendly, we come from Dubai and we know what is a world class service, but this was on another level!
We loved the fact that we were not pushed into spending more than what we were comfortable with. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us find proper water shoes, snorkel gear and even an iphone charger my wife forgot.
I highly recommend this boutique hotel to everyone!
Loved everything about the hotel - the young couple who owned hotel, they are so nice and welcoming. Staff are very attentive. Great beach with white sand. After 8 days of Kilimanjaro trek, this is truly paradise. There was complementary boat trip to snorkel and swim; I was lucky to observe professional coconut harvesting which happens every two weeks, then taste the fresh coconut water and flesh. We flew in early in the am from Kilimanjaro and we were surprised to find our room was ready!! So flexible and accommodating.
This resort is awesome! You feel like you are in paradise. Everything was amazing, from the staff to food. The staff is so kind and welcoming, they want to please the customer. Breakfast is great and delicious, many options to choose. Rooms are designed with the taste, rooms also have balconies. Location is great, Bwejuu is a calm place where you can chill, not many resorts around. Hotel is beachfront. This hotel is the best one that we have been in Zanzibar! I would definetely choose it again.
We spent two wonderful weeks at Kijani with our young children. Everything was perfect: beautiful design and views, a « desert island » feel on the beach, a stunning swimming pool with a very nice shallow area for kids. There is plenty of space so even if the hotel was fully booked it was always quiet and pleasant. The lovely staff made us feel at home. We 100% recommend it (it’s even more beautiful than on the pictures) and we will be back one day for sure!
I had a lovely stay at Sanja's apartment. This house is located on beachfront within true local environment. Everything was sparkly clean and equipped with everything you need with very nice garden full with tropical plants and beautifully painted walls made by local artist. And Sanja was a perfect host with many local and useful tips on Zanzibar. Many thanks Sanja for everything and I will definitely book your apartment again.

Very enjoyable experience.
The whole stay was great overall. the hotel is very nice, with clean pools and in a very nice beach you can walk along. The breakfast was great too; apart from tasty, it was also varied and quick. We were also always treated super well by all the staff. eventually, the room was spacious, always clean, with a very good shower… everything we expected
Absolutely amazing stay at apartment in Bwejuu, Zanzibar! The food at the restaurant was exceptional, the breathtaking views from the apartment were truly memorable, and having the beach so close was a dream. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A definite 5-star experience all around!
Due to the Italian owner the quality of food, beverage and even the solid rooms and bath equipment is exceptional for Zanzibar. The chef and all staff are well educated to serve customer oriented. It's a quit and relativly small hotel with relaxing and familiar atmosphere. Ideal for couples in honey moon. No tourism overloading.
Great place with a stunning view, the stuff is very polite and nice, the breakfast is delicious, all the tours can be booked directly from the hotel. I would highly recommend the place for those who wish to have a good vacation surrounded with great people and beautiful view.
Location, location, location.
Take of your shoes, relax and unwind on one the beachloungers or in a hammock.
One of the few places that really has its chairs on the beach.
My room was small but bright. Nice hot rainshower. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Location right on the beach, oceanview from the bungalow, lots of places to sit/hammock, decent amount of shade. Staff all very nice! Food is tasty, large variety of both food and drinks. Bungalow was spacious and pretty inside. Good hot water.
We liked the location of the villa, there was a very nice hotel next to us which has a really good breakfast options. We also liked the rooms of the villa and had a very nice maasai security.
I liked the location of the hotel, right on the beach a short distance from Paje. The hotel was a well-kept and clean. Very friendly staff, eager for conversations and helpful.
Amazing little cute hotel with great staff and great food! the all day coffee stations had me sold . Yvonne was absolutely amazing and so were the rest of the staff!
