We had been staying somewhere else in Stratford upon Avon, due to be 2 nights, but it was so awful, we decided to head to the Lakes a day early, on the Friday, as we were due to go into our self catering accommodation on the Saturday. We booked last minute at the Ravenstone Manor and so, so happy we did. From the second we arrived, we were treated so well by the amazing staff. We had hot drinks by the open fire. We had a lovely evening meal, followed by a walk down to the lake and beautiful Church in close proximity to the hotel. We had a hot chocolate on our return. We slept well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning; again the staff were incredible. Loved this hotel and would definitely recommend to everyone.

We loved our stay, very comfy beds/rooms, the bar area was lovely, we sat next to the real fire and had dinner, perfect end to the day after a long walk.
Breakfast was also very nice, good selection of food and quick friendly service.
Set in 2 acres of tranquil wooded gardens. The charming rooms have TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and many have breathtaking views of the valley and fells.

Keswick is a pleasant town in the Lake District beside Derwent Water. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. There is a market on Thursdays. The Pencil Museum is worth a visit, small but full of interesting facts on the manufacture and use of all types of pencil. The circular boat trip around Derwent Water is a pleasant way to spend an hour.

The countryside around Keswick is beautiful.
The countryside around Keswick is beautiful. The views from Catbells are fantastic and it is a relatively easy climb, but VERY busy and almost a procession. The Pencil Museum was brilliant, really interesting and well done, we had a quiz sheet to complete, and it enhanced the experience. The town was busy, but not unpleasantly so, there are lots of independent shops and cafes. We also went to a play at the Theatre at the Lake, which is a lovely venue. The Keswick Museum is small but interesting.

Not far from M6
Ullswater and Bassenthwaite lakes only 15-25 mins away by car.
I loved the excellent location of the hostel (within 1/4 of a mile of the town centre) as well as the excellent staff.
There was always plenty of activities to partake in, due to the location of Keswick : )
I was especially surprised to discover that I was the only person occupying my bedroom (due to the time of my stay, a week before the busy Easter holidays and that my room came with a very good en-suite bathroom.
Crow Park Hotel is lovely and unique with beautiful architecture and exceptional views. Our room overlooked the lake and gave us inspiration to walk around it the next day. The bed was comfortable (we slept very well) and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpful (they helped us plan our hike). All in all it was a great experience.
Everything was perfect and we loved the attention to detail in our generously sized room. It was a bonus that we could park our car right outside the door. Easy short stroll into the bustling town centre. Paul and Christine are hospitable hosts and we would definitely recommend a visit. Looking forward to repeating our stay sometime. Thanks for a great weekend!
Lovely place to stay. Excellent hosts, Lorna and Simon, who made us very welcome and gave us some good tips on walking. Fantastic breakfasts and lots of little extras in the room which was much appreciated. Large bedroom and very comfy bed.
Good location, short walk along a disused railway track right into the centre of Keswick.
Would definitely visit again.
The staff couldn’t do more for you, they made the experience 100 times better. One of the staff even dropped us into Keswick town centre after finishing his shift, to save us waiting for the 2 hour bus. I’d 1000 percent recommend staying at this hotel, and we for sure will return one day. Oh, and the food is amazing.
The location is exceptional, close to Keswick attractions and Derwent Water. Bassenthwaite Lake is just a footpath away. The hotel is extremely dog friendly and four legged guests brighten the place even more. Breakfast options are great for even fussy eaters such as myself.
A warm and friendly welcome at this immaculate B&B. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking in to Keswick town centre and also for exploring the rest of the Lakes. Breakfast was delicious and the beds super comfy. Many thanks for a great stay.
Even though location was about 5-10 mins away from town centre it was quiet. Breakfast was easy to order, presented on a hot plate and food tasted lovely. Overall impression though, I was struck at how immaculately clean the premises were maintained.
Great value, one night in a two bedroom apartment was just over £70. Location was ideal for exploring, and only a 20-25 minute walk into Keswick town centre. Would happily stay here again at these sort of prices.
Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated requests for early check-in and breakfast. The room had plenty of tea/coffee/milk options including decaf. Great location near the town centre.
Breakfast was superb and they catered for a dairy free diet. The staff were very helpful and did all we could expect. Location was good and the bus stopped outside the hotel for Keswick which we used.
Excellent location with Keswick town centre being a 20 min walk.
Craig and Claire were fantastic hosts ensuring my stay was perfect.
