Beautiful view from the pub and the room, the restaurant/bar had lots of nicely arranged seating and a lovely outdoor area.
The bedroom was very big and I'm sure the bed was superkingsize! The ensuite was modern and clean. The room had a balcony which overlooked the harbour and because there were lots of large windows in the room, you could wake up to a Seaview
The staff were very friendly and helpful too both with the room booking and behind the bar
Breakfast was lovely too

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!
I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily

Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from.
Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from. Lovely little town with amazing coastal path. If you enjoy walking you won’t be disappointed with this area. Superb scenery from Seahouses to Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and discovered a lovely old traditional smokehouse in Seahouses. Before walking to Holy Island we enjoyed a coffee at Beal Barn with panoramic views. Driving over to Holy Island an option if you don’t want a very long walk ! Overall enjoyed excellent hospitality everywhere we visited. We’d need a full weeks visit next time to really appreciate that coastline. Stunning ! The Snug a cosy base for the two of us with parking right outside our door

Seahouses is a lovely place something for everyone.
Seahouses is a lovely place something for everyone. I especially enjoy the harbour and the boat trips. Love neptunes fish and chips . Gone to the farms island gift shop for many years it’s an Aladdin’s cave.
Great location for our first visit to the North East, not only was it just a short walk into town where we found two great pubs serving lovely food, but it also allowed us to explore many of the places on our bucket list, all of which were not too far away. The staff and accommodation at Beach House were very good, we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant at the hotel on our first night and would highly recommend. The Beach is just across the road where we enjoyed a lovely walk after breakfast.
Beautiful view from the pub and the room, the restaurant/bar had lots of nicely arranged seating and a lovely outdoor area.

Breakfast was lovely too
House, staff, rooms and food were all good. Was a little worried about road noise but the double glazing cut that out well. Bed was comfy and had two good nights of sleep. The only thing that mildly let the room down was the shower which was a bit tight for the larger person. The hotel is about 20mins walk from the centre of seahouses. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would consider staying again if holidaying in that area.
We loved walkng along the shoreline, the tides of the sea crashing into the bay by the harbour. Quaintness of the area. Brilliant. The staff were all very accomodating to my dietry requirements. The Chef was supreme with changing meals to suit my diet, making desserts that were wonderful. I felt very spoiled by everyone in the hotel. Thankyou x
Great little holiday let - very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Right next to a bakery, butchers, Co-op and several restaurants. Really appreciated little things like tea, coffee, sugar and dishwasher tablets being provided! Lovely base for exploring the area for a family of four.
Dog friendly hotel with very helpful staff. Our room had a balcony with sea view and was a wonderful spot. Dog enjoyed it too as lots of lovely beaches nearby to run about on.
Lovely breakfast.
First time visiting this part the UK and we really enjoyed it, We were lucky with the weather too !
Ideally placed to explore the Northumberland coast- the beach at Seahouses, and the gem that is Embleton Bay.
Dog friendly - need we say more ?
Fantastic friendly service from Joan and the team at the Olde School House, the rooms are kept to a very high standard and, yes, the breakfast is exceptional!
Outstanding location overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, the village is only seconds away with all of the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
We spent our time walking to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and exploring all that the area had to offer.
A perfect weekend retreat.
It’s understated but comfortable esthetic. The staff. The location. The little restaurant is good. The breakfast is nice. The sitting area / lounge is lovely and the proximity to stellar walking and beach and tide pools and sunrises is tip top.
Everything from arrival to departure was perfect. Wilf and Kate were lovely hosts and we would certainly recommend Wyndgrove House for a stay in Seahouses.
Car parking on site was a bonus.
Hopefully be back soon.

The property was in Seahouses about 15 mins walk to the centre. It was a good base to see Alnwick and Bamburgh castles.
Clean and comfortable with well cooked breakfast.
The cleanliness of the room was very good and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The Hotel location was also good in relation to walking into the centre of Seahouses.
