First of all the good thing: on arrival my husband tripped on the stairs and fell over, and because his mobility is not brilliant, he was finding it difficult to get up. Staff were EXTREMEMELY caring and helpful, and we were very, very grateful.

The owner is accommodating and kind. The hotel is of a very high standard. It is stylish and chic.
We slept very well as the location is very quiet and there is good soundproofing.
It's very close to the train station/taxi rank, shops cafes and restaurants, and there's a small Tesco just around the corner which is open late.
It was brilliant to have a fridge and kitchen area, dining table and sofa, what more could you need for a very comfortable stay.
The wood garden is simply stunning and beautifully designed. Enjoyed a coffee there in the sun!
We would definitely return next time we're in Worcester!

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!
Loved the People, the breakfast really set us up for a long day of travel - proper food, conversation was wonderful, staff are amazing in so many ways for guests and community. Definitely going to book here for all my family visits to and through Worcester. Bringing our dog was easy and we met other good folks and a pooch who clearly sees Ye Old Talbote as his holiday destination. For us it means finally, that we could bring our dog to visit family here.
Best two attributes are the staff and the location. All of the staff were professional, polite, helpful and had a smile on their faces. Allocated a room in the annex as opposed to the hotel, clear view of river Severn from bedroom patio doors.Visited Worcester to go to races hotel location was ideal for this being a fifteen minute walk away with half of this being along the river. Food was well prepared and presented.
Beautifully renovated historic house. It is tucked away so there is a sense of privacy. The room was sympathetically designed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a short walk from the main centre of Worcester, cafes and restaurants, cathedral and about 12 minutes walk from the cricket ground. The hosts were very responsive when we got in contact before our stay.
Bed was very comfy, room was quiet and spacious (22).
The windows opened and the radiator could be turned down or off which was much better than many hotels I've stayed in where it was far too hot and the air conditioning didn't work.
Breakfast was good and the staff were all excellent.
Very good location and Worcester itself was a great place for a weekend away.
In the heart of Worcester great little hotel with larger and more comfortable rooms than you would expect. I've always also found Wetherspoons hotels to be very clean and with better room facilities than some of the regular 3 star chain hotels. The staff are very helpful and it's the third time I've stayed here and will hopefully do so again in future
It was comfortable, clean, staff are excellent. The food is amazing. Our eggs were lovely 😁. The evening meal was delicious and nicer than the restaurant in Worcester. It's a shame we chose to eat elsewhere that night. At the end of the day, you don't go to spend all day in your hotel room, it's somewhere to stay whilst exploring the local area.
An excellent find. We were given a wonderfully friendly welcome and shown to our rooms which were more spacious and more comfortable than rooms in much larger and expensive hotels. The location was just what we needed - a quiet village setting and close to the Elgar Birthplace Museum. We will certainly stay here again on future Worcester trips.
Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not The Ritz, but I did not expect it to be. We six elderly friends met at the hotel for a night out in Worcester. Location perfect. Comfortable night’s sleep in my family room. Breakfast fry up with coffee/tea and orange juice was great value at £6.00.
Such a lovely hotel! We stayed in a beautifully decorated, small apartment with a view of the river. We were welcomed with a free glass of Prosecco on arrival. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Worcester.
Beautiful location, lovely bar area and the owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bar prices, delicious breakfast and accommodation were excellent value for money. If you are looking for a budget hotel I would highly recommend the Severn View Hotel.
The apartment was very clean, cozy and comfortable! It felt very homely and me and my partner felt very relaxed there. Very impressed with the facilities and it was well worth every penny! Will recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Worcester.
Location was lovely and convenient while being in a quiet area. All staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay, including allowing us to check in early after a long haul flight. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy.
Everything. I was rather overwhelmed. Clean and comfortable and really much better than I had expected. I will certainly stay again and recommend The Crown as a place to stay in Worcester for others.
Fownes Hotel has an excellent location in Worcester. As a former glove factory it has some interesting quirks but we were accommodated in an excellent sized room with good facilities.
Loved the room it was quaint and cosy lovely big bed. The hotel had a fabulous restaurant where we had our evening meal and breakfast the next day food was outstanding.
